I was in safeway store #2821 3800 W Happy Valley Rd. Phoenix, AZ today 06/05/21 I went there to by the 12 packs of coke or pepsi products 4 for $11.88 and spent $18.36 and got to register and they said I must spend $25.00 to get the sale on the sodas. The cashier got a sale add to show me and the fine print was so small I did not see it she had to point it out to me and still good not see it very well I am a senior citizen and don't spend very much money on groceries and I feel this is wrong since I was only $6.64 below the $25.00. I’ve been shopping at Safeway since before it was Safeway when it was lucky the Safeway on happy Valley and 43rd Ave. I believe. For the past several years the people that work in the meat department have been very rude and not helpful at all. In the past I used to order chicken when it was on sale and ask them to wrap it two breast per package for the freezer. They no longer will do that they tell me I have to come back in several hours to pick it up. The last few times I tried to buy chicken I ask for 10 pounds and I was told there’s an 8 pound limit, the last time I just said OK give me 8 pounds when I go to the checkout counter I asked the manager is there a limit on the chicken and the manager told me no. Today again I asked for 10 pounds of chicken and he tells me 8 pound limit and I argued with everybody in the meat departmentFor at least 10 minutes that there was no limit and give me 10 pounds of chicken. The people working in the meat department are the rudest people I’ve ever seen in my life they shouldn’t be in a customer service position if they don’t know how to give customer service if I asked for 10 pounds of chicken give me 10 pounds of chicken if I want it wrapped in two piece individual piece packages do it it’s your job I’ve been shopping at that store since it opened and I’m considering switching to a different store just so I don’t have to deal with that meat department anymore.

jewel store 599 e roosevelt rd glen ellyn il ON 1-13-21 was at store. went to 15 or less checkout with 6 items. Observed older women working check She accepted checking out women with 6 or 7 bags of groceries. the bags were personal bags already full. checkout out person took each item out of bag scanned and put back in bag. unbelievable!!! was told the go to other line. other line was very backed-up. took 10 minutes to check out. went to customer service no one there. called store mgr did not return my call. I have problems with this store before. They wasted wasted wasted my time and there getting paid. wrong wrong wrong!!!!
